As you’ll hear in the podcast, Alyssa was my coworker at IHOP, we worked there together over a decade ago. Alyssa’s energy was always, cool, calm, collected, and in the moment. We lost touch over the years. I saw her life slowly transform from working in the food industry to becoming a recreation activities worker at a prison to now owning her own hypnotherapy business where she helps people overcome their limiting beliefs and achieve a greater sense of purpose in their lives. I’m so glad I reconnected with Alyssa to record this podcast, I discovered that she only lives a seven-minute drive away from me in Chilliwack, so I hope I will see her more often than once every decade.
