In 2022, I was contracted by CEDAR Outreach to develop their website and social media pages. I shadowed and interviewed the organization’s talented Peer and Outreach workers to write the copy for and take the photos for the organization’s brand-new website.

During the pandemic years, I was a shelter worker at Mission Community Services Society and the Salvation Army. It was during this time I became passionate about harm reduction and the safe consumption of illicit substances. I’m grateful for the opportunity to use my communication skills to bring light to an organization that is working behind the scenes to connect the unhoused community with the resources that will help them achieve their own unique goals. I was lucky to work with such a compassionate and hard-working group of Peer and Outreach workers who are the backbone of the organization.
